Have you seen this house?
Chances are if you spend time looking through real estate websites and blogs across the country, you've probably come across it.
If not, search "picture of house" on Google, look at "images" and it'll likely appear at or near the top of the search result's list.
It has been downloaded and published by media outlets, bloggers, web designers, realtors, and others looking for a stock "house" image. In fact, as of this writing, it has been viewed more than 16 million times and has been downloaded almost 120,000 times.
To those that have downloaded it, it is "the house," to us, it is simply a picture of our Latah model home in the Paramount subdivision of Meridian, Idaho.

No worries, our copyright has not been infringed upon :-). Three years ago I added a few photos, including this one, to a free image sharing site and allowed free use of the picture. From there, the site's internal search engine, user votes in the form of downloads, and the great design :-) has kept in circulation.
