Hallways are the perfect spot to display artwork or even throw a cabinet into the mix to maximize your storage space but if the hallway is narrow there are a few minor tweaks that can be made easily.
If you are thinking of a table or cabinet be sure to keep it under 10" in depth. Drawing your attention upwards by hanging artwork above and utilizing a tall plant on the cabinet top can also make the space feel larger. Remember, you want to leave at least a 30" width of walkway space to not feel too cluttered or cramped.
Another great trick is to add a mirror on the wall, the bigger the better in my opinion, mirrors will always make a small space feel brighter and more expansive than it actually is.
If wall space allows, a thoughtfully done collage of pictures and photos framed similarly can be a great way to add personality and break up the space as well.
