The Emerald in Homestead

Written by Ryan Mitchell | Apr 28, 2021 8:51:08 PM

The Emerald floor plan is a single-level home built by Alturas Homes in Homestead. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath floor plan was a featured home in the 2018 Spring Parade of Homes. If indoor and outdoor living spaces are on your list of must-haves, then check this home out! You will love using the main-level bonus room that has double-sliding doors that open up to the covered patio area. Did we also mention the great room opens up to the same patio area as well? There are not enough superlatives we can mention to describe how wonderful this home is. As you see the pictures below, you'll find out real quick why so many people fall in love with this plan and why we think you will too.

Alturas Homes finished building this home in the Spring of 2021 in Eagle, Idaho, in the Brighton Corp community of Homestead, located just 30 minutes west of Boise.

Below is the Emerald located on Lot 01 Block 15. The home was designed by Lauren Smyth. Interior styling and photography were done by Andi Marshall.

Great Room

This room is special because the Originals Drayton Valley hardwood floor surrounds the space with durability and style, the matching mantle, floating shelves, and ceiling beams all provide an impressive contrast against the Sherwin Williams Snowbound walls, and the sliding glass doors connecting to the covered patio capture all the natural light you could wish for.

Entry

We added a sliding barn door to connect with the mudroom and love how it became a focal point of the space. The Snowbound walls and ceiling give a chic contrast against the Originals Drayton Valley hardwood floor.

Kitchen

There is so much to love about a well-rounded kitchen like this one. Starting with the Makoto Kuroi Black backsplash, the 1/2 offset pattern pairs well with the Sherwin Williams Colonnade Gray cabinets and island to emphasize the moody vibe in this roomThe Silestone Eternal Calacatta Gold Suede countertops and island finishes complement the surrounding Snowbound walls and ceiling with brilliance.

Master Bedroom

The cathedral ceilings in this room really open up space for plenty of natural light. The Tuftex Wanderer Horizon carpet is cozy and stylish, and the Snowbound walls and ceiling gave us a light and airy look that is memorable.

Master Bathroom

We really enjoyed playing with the tile patterns to capture the dramatic look in this bathroom. The Kuroi Black Hex tile floor exposes deep colors, combining well with the matching Cloe 5x5 Black backsplash and shower tile. The straight stack style gave us a refined, modern look and really emphasizes the spaces around it. The Colonnade Gray cabinets with the Snowbound walls and ceiling really make a statement of their own with the light and relaxing finishes, and we couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out.

Laundry Room

This space is all about balance. The Colonnade Gray cabinets sit well against the Snowbound walls and ceiling, opening up the contrast for the Kerion Neocim Lave tile floor. The Makoto Shoji White backsplash is the perfect backdrop for the Black Pearl Leather Suede countertop and completes the classic look in this room.
