The Greyhawk with Bonus is a floor plan we've been excited about since the moment we started designing it. It's been a hot minute since we finished building the last Greyhawk and because we love to always improve our designs, we wanted to add new spaces like an upstairs bedroom and bonus room, and vaulted ceilings throughout the home. This 2400 square foot home will be one you surely love.
Check out our home in Arbor, The Greyhawk with Bonus. Lauren Smyth, our interior designer, really outdid herself on the selections, captured nicely through photography by Nathan Hines.
Great Room
We sure do love vaulted ceilings and natural light, but that's not all this room has to offer. For starters, check out the D-Segni Moua tile surrounding the fireplace. Nothing draws attention to itself more than a unique selection like this, and we are here for it. Moving on to the Evoke VCC Jess hardwood floor, the sturdy and deep finish is something we really like because of the contrast it gives against the Sherwin Williams Snowbound walls and ceiling. We use this color a lot because its simple, but stands out at the same time. It looks sharp against grey and darker colors, and provides the perfect backdrop for a room like this. In fact, we have a few favorite interior paint colors that work across the board. This blog post explains it all. If there ever was a room that exemplified quality, this certainly qualifies.
Entry
Nothing says welcome home more than a clean layout like this one. The long hallway is both stylish and open, providing opportunities to decorate your home in any way you'd like. The Evoke VCC Jess hardwood floor is ideal because it really defines the layout of the home: laid back & well-planned.
Kitchen
The kitchen is a really crucial point of a home because it is often where many memories are made. The clean look here starts with the MSI Highland Park Whisper White backsplash tile. The glossy, symmetric layout calls attention to itself without even trying to, and we won't complain for something like that. The Sherwin Williams Colonnade Grey cabinets match the chic vibe of the tile, providing a slight contrast in color but matching in style.
Master Bedroom
What good is a bedroom without room for personal touch and natural light? You'd be surprised with what you can do with a space like this, so to start we'd suggest using some Shaw Attainable Soft Fleece carpet. We used it here because it pairs well with a furniture set like this, but let's be honest; something this soft and cozy would look good in any bedroom.
Master Bathroom
This bathroom looks refreshing and relaxing, all thanks to the finishes. The Colonnade Grey cabinets were perfect to capture the moody vibe of this bathroom. The Urban Canvas Ice White Gloss backsplash tile keeps the space looking airy and laid-back, almost without even trying to. Also, we'll leave it up to you to decide if you like the Snowbound on the walls and ceiling or the Tanner 3 vanity light above the mirror.
Bonus Room
We'll take a room with a view, please. One of the nice things about an upstairs bonus room is the feel you can create separate from the rest of the house. From the Shaw Attainable Soft Fleece carpet to the raised ceilings, everything about this room says relaxation and potential.
Laundry Room
Laundry rooms are unique because everyone likes to set them up in their own way, so we thought we'd set it up that has a little bit of everything. The bright look really distracts from the chores that happen here. Starting with the Finish Line Penny White backsplash tile and finishing through the Colonnade Grey cabinets, the combination of light and refreshing touches throughout the room really adds up to a memorable space.

About Arbor
We built the Greyhawk with Bonus in the Brighton Corp Community of Arbor, the kind of place anyone could call home. Located just 30 minutes west of downtown Boise, Arbor is a flourishing community with both shopping centers and schools all within a stone's throw of Lot 06 Block 02. Our kind of community, if we do say so ourselves. Arbor is a special community because Alturas has its roots in Idaho, and all of our Arbor homes draw on inspiration from historic locations around the gem state. If you ever have wondered how we name our homes, like the Greyhawk, then check out this blog post.
